Small work

Detail from a pastel
Venice Bridge
5" x 7 "

Painting a study works for me
because then I have the colors
that photographs can't capture.

This painting
will be in the exhibit at the
 Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra
Ponte Vedra, Florida
 Dec. 4rth to Dec. 26th.

Classically Trained, Intuitively Inspired

It is official.  July 18- 25th, 2015 is a definite for our workshop in Italy.
Since I work in a very intuitive way, I invited a special guest this year
to share her expertise.
We know her as the famous "Deborah".
She earned "Best Intuitive Medium" in a nationwide vote
by About. com (a NY Times Company).
As a matter of fact, we both won together in 2012 although
my award was for  "Best Intuitive Artist".

The focus for this year's trip is all about intuition, the knowing that
comes from within.

ARE YOU ON A SPIRITUAL PATH READY TO EMBRACE YOUR GIFT?

Then this is the trip for you!

Spend a week in Italy TO EXPAND YOUR INTUITION,
EXPLORE THE HIGHER REALM and EXPERIENCE “BEING YOU”
in a whole new way.  I will incorporate collaging so that no artistic
skills are necessary yet everyone will leave with a work of art that
keeps them inspired all year long.

If you are a traditional painter
and are open to this trip you can
join me when I paint the countryside
in a more classical manner. (see below)

The focus this trip is about realizing your gifts
and no art experience is required.

There is a limited number of spaces since we will be staying at a luxurious villa.
Look in the next couple of days for all the information
on my website at www.RichichiArt.com and www.LindaRichichi.com under workshops.

Hello,

It has been some time since I've had a blog.  This blog will be tips and techniques to increase your creativity and expand your paintings skills.

Tip of the day: Start a journal. Grab a notebook and just draw anything. Loosen up. Do you hold the pencil as an artist does? Lay the pencil in your non-dominant hand. Now pick it up gently with the dominant hand with just your finger tips and hold it very loosely. Now draw. When you slide your fingers down the barrel and grasp tightly, the drawings are very tight. Loosen up. Be free. Draw doodles. Just draw.  This is what happened when I did that one day.
